Damien Helbourne (Daemon outside of the US) is the Dark Sultan of Al Maajik. He wants to make a mark on the world and its people and to make it a brighter place. He is the fifteen-year-old son of Demona and the Prior Dark Sultan. He can be found in the Sultan's Throne Room inside the Dark Sultan's Fortress with his pet dog Cerberus, his loyal and trusted Maajiknight Odin, and his mother Demona.
Appearance
Damien appears as a young Caucasian human boy with orange blush marks on each cheek. He has magenta hair and purple eyes with shadows under them. He wears a purple vest with gold trim at the bottom and puffy olive green shorts and a red and black sash tied around his waist. He also wears gold wristbands/bangles and a black cape adorned with a gold necklace with a large red ruby in the middle of it.
Profile
Not much of Damien's history has been revealed, but after the prior Dark Sultan (his father) was sealed away, he was elected as the new Dark Sultan. Damien is a peaceful character and doesn't wish to wage war against Castele. When you first meet him, he pretends to be evil before revealing his true character and his problems. Despite his fearsome appearance and reputation, he is considered a friend of the main characters and is described as quite nice and a "Down to Earth soul." In Fantasy Life Online, his sister which there is no information about on the internet at all describes him as having "Generosity as vast as the (Aridian) Desert. Though he seems to have inherited his father's mischief, as seen when the player first meets him and he pretends to be evil as a joke, and at one point when the player can listen to Damien and Erik talking to each other, and Damien claims to have a trick or two up his sleeves, which is weird because he does not have sleeves.
He is constantly annoyed by cowardly would-be heroes bashing his door down, yelling their heads off at him, and waving their swords around in an insane way. That's probably the reason why he has bags under his eyes - from him being woken up all the time by people.
The alternate name Daemon Helbourne appears to be a pun of "demon hell-born". The name Damien is a direct reference to Damien Thorn, the Antichrist from The Omen (1976).

Damien is able to join the player's party once the player has completed the Tale of Lunares storyline.
