Akihiro Hino

Akihiro Hino (日野 晃博 Hino Akihiro) (born July 20, 1968) is the producer of the Fantasy Life series. He is also the founder, CEO, and president of video game development and publishing company Level-5.

Background

Hino began his career in the video game industry in the late 1980s working for Japanese company Riverhillsoft. He was the lead programmer for the PlayStation exclusive OverBlood. His work promoted him to be the director, designer, and writer for OverBlood 2.

In late 1998, Hino founded Level-5. The first Level-5 game developed was Dark Cloud released for PlayStation 2, where Hino was the producer, designer, and writer.
