I think people are getting too focused on what level to be when it's not really about the level. It all comes down to how you've placed your stat points. That is the key thing right there followed by what level your skills are for those weapons. If you've evenly placed your stats, it's going to be a difficult time taking down any of the harder challenges. Stat points should be placed in appropriately.
