Categorizing FLO stuff

Hey, I noticed that some of the FLO pages aren't categorized and don't even have proper categories. I think adding a Category:Fantasy Life Online and a Category:FLO Game Mechanics would be great to make it more organized. Since you seem to be the one mainly doing FLO edits I thought about asking you (since you probably know how the FLO part of the wiki is structured). ADDB (talk) 13:14, 19 February 2023 (UTC)

Never used User Talk before, so let's see if this works, haha. Hi, I've added FLO Game Mechanics to the Bond Relic page. With the other category, are you suggesting a general FLO category for all FLO-related pages? I think that definitely would help with organization. Jester946 (talk) 15:56, 19 February 2023 (UTC)
First, it's generally easier to follow conversations on talk pages if answers are indented once for each step (as I did now) which is done by adding a :. And yes, just like you added Category:FLO Game Mechanics I think it would be a great idea to add categories for everything that is related to FLO. It helps organize and since another Fantasy Life instalment will (probably) release this year, pages about that game may also be added to this wiki which will make proper organization even more important. In my opinion adding a Category:Fantasy Life and a Category:Fantasy Life Online and then adding the different subcategories (Category:FLO Characters, ...) to them would probably be a good step. PS: I forgot it myself, but to link categories (instead of adding them to a page) preface them with a :. Meaning instead of [[Category:FLO Characters]] use [[:Category:FLO Characters]] ADDB (talk) 16:48, 19 February 2023 (UTC)
I've added the main FLO categories to Category:Fantasy Life Online, this should be helpful for organization. Jester946 (talk) 17:25, 19 February 2023 (UTC)

FLO Rarity

Hey again! I just noticed that the two pages Template:FLO Item Infobox and Template:FLO Craftmat Infobox both link to the unexisting [File:FLO-0 Star Rarity Icon.png] because they default to rarity=0. Since those are the only two pages to do that I had the thought that maybe Rarity 0 doesn't exist in FLO? If that is so, I think it's probably a good idea to change the default rarity to 1. I didn't play FLO so I thought of asking you.

On another note, since you're one of the very few currently active users I wanted to mention to you: I wanted (and still want) to make the Wiki more presentable for Dark Mode users. Doing that would require modifying a lot of CSS though and since you need Administrator for that I asked the Bureaucrats of this wiki. Due to I noticed that most of them have not reacted to anything in many years. After talking with User:Skelark about it we decided to make an Adoption Request to get him the Bureaucrat role since he is (and has been) active for a few years. If you are fine with that then great. If for whatever reason you have a problem with that we can also talk about that.

Yeah, there is no 0-Star rarity in FLO. I think I had set the default to 0 since I used other template's like Template:Craftmat as a base, due to my inexperience with creating templates. It would be fine to change the default to 1, the default value doesn't matter much, since it wouldn't actually be seen on an item page.
Also, I have no problems with Skelark being Bureaucrat, since they're—as you said—one of the more active members of the wiki. Jester946 (talk) 03:58, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
