Probably there is nothing inside the article. Wikia's categories structure is not really like Wikipedia. I will figure it out when I have some time. It might take a while because I'm currently very busy. But no problem, I will look into the matter. Minor fix

Discrepancies on Carpenter recipes' page

Hi,

I needed information from the carpenter recipes page, but found discrepancies on it, and the decor section is incomplete.

I left the details as comments on that page, if you could have a look.

I’m a FL addict and whenever I check the wiki for whatever I’m struggling with, I always see you’ve been editing it. I just thought I’d thank you for working so hard for a small community. Sorry if the formatting turns out weird on this. --136.34.63.195 18:23, September 2, 2019 (UTC)A FL fan

It's no problem at all! It's what I'm here for anyway & why I was made an admin/beauracrat? I'm still getting used to all of it. Most of my changes are small formatting to make it look nicer as well as new information I can grab from the game whenever I play, but I really appreciate it :) I hope they either release Fantasy Life Online outside of Japan or make a totally new one for the Switch. I really love the game as well & want much more for the series AndeWiki (talk) 19:20, September 2, 2019 (UTC)

Thanks for editing/fixing that page, I found my answer now :-)

Hello,

I'm the new Fandom wiki representative (formerly called wiki managers - there should be a blog post soon about the re-organization explaining more) on this wiki. Please let me know if you need anything. --Pcj (talk) <staff /> 13:29, 16 February 2021 (UTC)

Editing permissions.

Hi

A few days ago, I sent a message to KidProdigy in the Fantasy life wiki. Not sure if it was read or not. I also tried to contact by discord, but it didn’t recognize the discord tag but nonetheless to sum it up.

I recently start playing fantasy life again and I decide to help and edit the wiki and I notice that it still needs a lot of work. And the reason I’m contacting you is because I want to update the main page and I don’t have access to do so. The fandom wiki also got a new overall and a few things change and need edit imo.

This is a picture of what I have in mind, still a work in progress and subject of change.

In the end I’m asking you to have permission to edit the main page and maybe some random page that appears in the future somewhere and I already saw a few templates that are blocked too.

With all my regards, Skelark message 13:00, 24 June 2021 (UTC)

Follow Up

Thanks for replying back. And I appreciate your feedback. Thanks.

The sketch that I made for the main page was just an image made in photoshop I don't have any code for it right now. I was thinking on just make it on the go. If you want to to open the page for me to edit the best time is the weekend.

However I have no problem starting to make the edit in a placeholder a sent to you later.

This fandom talk think it's real weird for me. I would be more comfortable speaking on discord. That is if you don't mind ofc. My discord is Skelark#5486

Improving the dark mode experience

Hello AndeWiki,

I sent a similar message to User:KidProdigy who didn't respond. After a few days I took a look and noticed that User:Skelark did the same years ago and didn't get an answer from him, so I thought to try my luck with you since you're another Bureaucrat (I honestly should have asked you first since you're the most recently active one).

With the recent announcement, I picked up the game again and used the Wiki very frequently. The problem is, since I generally use dark mode, I came to notice that the wiki was made with light theme in mind and was never really modified to incorporate dark mode users. This leads to many templates and designs looking bright even in dark mode, meaning sometimes text is barely readable or even totally unreadable. Even if you can read the text it often looks, with all due respect, rather bad in the dark theme. At the beginning, I only wanted to change some templates, which either needed a little editing of a template (sometimes protected ones) or adding some site-wide CSS. I did that with Skelark's help. But I noticed that there were a lot of things that needed to change to better fit the theme (To name a few: Template:World/nav, Template:Gear, Template:Craftmat, Template:Delete, Template:Song, Template:Languages, Template:Item or even Template:Color). If I want to keep the current light mode design (which looks pretty nice) but also add an improved dark mod experience, I would have to use CSS for every single template. I could do it like I currently do, where I change the template on my Sandbox, add the CSS to User:ADDB/common.css and later ask Skelark every time I need the finished CSS to be copied. It works, but I feel bad for bothering him so often, and it makes everything more convoluted than it has to be. Which is why I wanted to ask for Administrator (sysop role) since it is the only way to modify site wide CSS. Thanks for reading until here! ADDB (talk) 15:36, 21 February 2023 (UTC)
